Legendario Elixir de Cuba is not technically a rum but a unique punch au rhum, a Cuban specialty distinguished by its sweet, complex, and velvety profile. Crafted in Havana, this expression is based on aged Cuban rum, which is then blended with raisins and allowed to rest for 45 days. This unique process extracts rich, fruity notes, resulting in a dark amber liqueur bottled at a smooth 34% ABV. The result is a spirit with inviting aromas of aged wood, candied fruit, and honey. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, sweet journey of raisin, caramel, and vanilla. It is exceptionally approachable and traditionally enjoyed neat or slightly chilled to fully appreciate its decadent, slightly molasses-like character.
