The Dalmore 12 Year Old is the cornerstone of the prestigious Highland distillery's collection, representing a perfect balance of tradition and rich flavor. This single malt is initially matured for nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being split into two parts. One part remains in the bourbon casks, while the other is transferred to exclusive 30-year-old Oloroso sherry butts from González Byass. After a final marrying period, the resulting whisky delivers a complex and approachable profile. Expect a captivating array of aromas, including citrus fruits, vanilla, and sweet spice. The palate is rich with flavors of roasted coffee, marmalade, and dark chocolate, leading to a smooth, lingering finish of candied oranges and spice.
