Tomatin 15 Years Palo Cortado Whisky is an exquisite Highland single malt, distinguished by its sophisticated secondary maturation. Initially aged in traditional oak casks, this expression is carefully finished in rare Palo Cortado sherry butts, a distinctive sherry type that imparts a beautifully balanced complexity to the whisky.
This process yields a captivating profile, opening with rich aromas of dried fruits, roasted almonds, and bright orange zest, subtly laced with vanilla and soft baking spice. The palate is silky smooth, offering generous layers of caramel and dark chocolate, perfectly complemented by the signature nutty, complex character of the Palo Cortado cask. It culminates in a long, warm, and highly sophisticated finish.
