Starward Nova is a distinctive single malt whisky hailing from Melbourne, Australia, renowned for its progressive approach and uniquely Australian maturation. This expression is fully matured in Australian red wine barrels???primarily Shiraz, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir casks???which have previously held some of the country's celebrated wines. This unconventional aging process imparts a deep, vibrant amber hue and a rich, fruit-forward profile. Expect an inviting nose of red berries, toasted oak, and vanilla. The palate is characterized by bright notes of ripe red apples, soft spice, and a velvety texture, culminating in a dry, lingering finish with hints of chocolate and dark fruit.
