Akashi Single Malt is an elegant Japanese whisky from Eigashima Shuzo, distilled from 100% lightly peated malted barley near the coast in Akashi, Japan. This non-age statement spirit is aged for approximately 5???8 years in a unique combination of ex-bourbon, shochu, sherry, and new oak barrels. The coastal climate imparts a delicate yet distinct briny quality. The resulting flavor profile is lush and refined, offering prominent notes of yellow apple, creamy white chocolate, and salted caramel. Subtle smoke and oceanic salinity ride a long, buttery finish.
