This complex liqueur is the first of its kind since the 1940s, reviving a traditional Mexican *licor de chile*. The distinct process involves drying and macerating the chiles for six months to draw out their rich, smoky, and bittersweet characteristics. Bottled at 40% ABV, Ancho Reyes offers a velvety texture and a multi-layered profile featuring notes of cinnamon, cacao, and a mild, enduring heat.
