Bacardi Carta Oro Rum, meaning "Golden Card," is a premium expression expertly blended by Maestros de Ron, or Master Blenders, and aged for a minimum of three years in toasted American oak barrels. This careful maturation process gives the rum its distinct golden hue and a complex, rich, and mellow flavor profile. The palate offers inviting notes of rich vanilla, toasted almond, banana, and a subtle smokiness derived from the barrel aging. Its smooth, full-bodied character makes it exceptionally versatile. Carta Oro is the essential foundation for iconic golden rum cocktails, shining particularly brightly in a classic Cuba Libre or an elevated Mojito.
