Ballyhoo is a single-grain Irish whiskey celebrated for its exceptionally smooth, light-bodied character. Distilled from a mash of cereal grains, this unique expression undergoes a secondary maturation step, finishing in Port wine casks. This process softens the whiskey and imparts subtle reddish hues and complexity without artificial coloring.
The aroma is sweet and inviting, featuring floral notes mixed with gentle vanilla and almond. On the palate, Ballyhoo offers a symphony of vanilla and maple syrup sweetness, balanced by a hint of spice and subtle wood from its bourbon cask aging.
