Banhez Espadin & Barril Mezcal is crafted by a cooperative of 36+ families in the tiny village of San Miguel Ejutla, Oaxaca, continuing a nearly two-century tradition of sustainable, fair trade mezcal production. This Joven (unaged) mezcal is an Ensemble blend, predominantly featuring 90% Espadin agave and 10% Barril agave. This combination results in a delightfully mild, approachable, and complex spirit, making it perfect for both new mezcal tasters and cocktail enthusiasts. It offers a vibrant, floral and fruity profile, showcasing bright notes of pineapple and banana, alongside a subtle smokiness. Awarded Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Banhez is versatile and excellent whether sipped neat or used to elevate your favorite cocktail.
