Benromach Contrasts: Kiln Dried is a compelling 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky that challenges expectations from the Speyside region. This expression is uniquely crafted using malt that has been dried with very little peat smoke, allowing the distillery's signature fruity and malty character to shine through with exceptional purity.
Aged for a decade in first-fill bourbon barrels and seasoned sherry casks, the whisky develops a rich gold color and a refined complexity. On the palate, expect vibrant notes of sweet vanilla, fresh green apple, and creamy malt, beautifully balanced by a subtle, earthy undertone. The finish is long and satisfyingly clean, making it a superb dram that highlights the quality of unpeated malt. This whisky offers a fascinating contrast to Benromach's traditionally heavier peated releases.
