Boann PX Single Pot Whiskey is a distinguished Irish spirit that showcases the unique characteristics of single pot still production combined with an exceptional finish. This whiskey is triple distilled in County Meath using a mash bill of malted and unmalted barley, contributing to its creamy mouthfeel and signature spice. Following initial maturation, this limited release is finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. This secondary aging process deeply enriches the whiskey, imparting intense notes of dried dark fruit, molasses, and chocolate, perfectly complementing the underlying pot still spice.
