Bobbys Jenever is a modern take on the classic Dutch spirit, combining traditional Genever malty character with Indonesian-inspired botanicals. Crafted by the Herman Jansen distillery, this Genever uses a unique mash bill, often featuring malt wine, which gives it a rich, smooth, and slightly sweet grain base. The complexity is derived from eight key botanicals, including juniper, lemongrass, cubeb pepper, and cloves, which nod to the founders' Indonesian heritage. This results in an aromatic profile that is herbaceous, citrusy, and subtly spicy. Bottled at a standard ABV, Bobbys Jenever is exceptionally versatile, offering enough depth to be sipped neat or over ice, while its vibrant spice makes it an outstanding choice for classic cocktails like a Tom Collins or a Genever Old Fashioned.
