Botran 18 Solera Rum is a sophisticated expression from Guatemala, meticulously aged using the Solera system at high altitudes. This complex process involves blending rums aged between 5 and 18 years, resting them in a sequence of charred American whiskey, Port, and Sherry barrels. The Solera method imparts exceptional depth and a rich, multi-layered character. On the palate, this rum delivers abundant notes of sweet vanilla, caramelized aromas of roasted cocoa beans, and dried fruit, balanced by the influence of the various fortified wine casks. The result is a smooth, elegant, and full-bodied spirit with a luxurious, lengthy finish.
