Botran Ron De Guatemala No.8 is a superb expression of Guatemalan rum, utilizing the unique "Sistema Solera" aging process high above sea level. This complex maturation method involves blending rums of different ages in white oak barrels, with the oldest aged up to 8 years. Crafted from virgin sugar cane honey rather than molasses, it offers a remarkably smooth and lighter profile compared to traditional rums. The nose presents inviting notes of vanilla, oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, expect a harmonious blend of caramel, sweet spices, and a hint of coffee. Its balance and subtle sweetness make it highly versatile and an excellent introduction to aged rums.
