Boutinot Les Six Carianne is a powerful and concentrated red wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, embodying the rich terroir of its Mediterranean origins. This expression is a meticulous blend, where the Carianne designation signals the use of at least six traditional Rhône varietals, often centered around Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
The wine is renowned for its intense, dark fruit profile, featuring notes of black cherry, plum, and cassis, seamlessly layered with tertiary complexities of garrigue herbs, black pepper, and subtle mocha from oak aging. Full-bodied and structured, Les Six Carianne offers firm tannins and a long, savory finish, making it an excellent companion for rich, slow-cooked meats or robust game dishes.
