Bumbu The Original Rum is a craft Caribbean rum based on an historic recipe used by 16th and 17th-century sailors. Distilled in Barbados, often considered the birthplace of rum, this spirit utilizes high-quality sugarcane sourced from eight countries across the West Indies and South America.
This rum is blended with local Barbadian spring water and aged up to 15 years in bourbon barrels, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and balanced profile. It is notable for its rich, aromatic nose featuring notes of banana, vanilla, and soft caramel. The palate follows with a velvety texture, showcasing flavors of toasted oak, cinnamon, and allspice. At 35% ABV, its approachability and natural sweetness make it perfect for enjoying neat or as a luxurious base for premium rum cocktails.
