Bushmills Black Bush 80/20 PX Sherry Cask is a distinctive Irish whiskey expression that elevates the classic Black Bush profile through a unique finishing process. This blend consists of 80% triple-distilled malt whiskey, aged in former bourbon and sherry casks, and 20% grain whiskey. The 'PX Sherry Cask' maturation sees the whiskey finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, imparting a deep, luxurious sweetness. This aging process delivers rich aromas of fruitcake, toasted walnuts, sherry-soaked raisins, and baking spices. The palate follows with a complex mix of allspice, ripe peaches, almonds, dried fruit, black pepper, and warm vanilla. Bottled at 40% ABV, it maintains the exceptional smoothness Bushmills is known for, offering a rich and rounded flavor perfect for sipping neat or on the rocks.
