Caggio Prosecco Rose

Caggio Prosecco Rosé is a vibrant and elegant Italian sparkling wine, classified as DOC, which legally guarantees its quality and origin. This expression is crafted primarily from the Glera grape, the cornerstone of Prosecco, blended with 10-15% Pinot Noir (Pinot Nero), which imparts the delicate pink hue and subtle structure. The Pinot Noir is vinified as a still red wine before being blended with the Glera base. This wine undergoes its secondary fermentation using the Charmat method in stainless steel tanks, allowing it to achieve its fine, persistent perlage and retain the grapes' fresh, aromatic character. It presents sophisticated notes of red berries, particularly strawberry and raspberry, complemented by the characteristic apple and pear essence of Glera. Perfectly balanced and dry, this Rosé is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light seafood and summer salads.
