Caliche Rum is a premium Puerto Rican white rum, meticulously crafted by Destilería Serrallés—the producers of Don Q. This sophisticated spirit is a blend of four different aged rums, which are then charcoal filtered to remove color while retaining the complex flavors developed during maturation. The resulting spirit is exceptionally smooth and pure, yet offers significantly more depth and character than a standard white rum. It features inviting notes of vanilla, caramel, and subtle oak from its brief aging, complemented by the bright, clean tropical fruitiness of fresh cane spirit. Bottled at 40% ABV, its elegant profile makes it a superb foundation for high-end cocktails, particularly those where rum is the star, such as a Daiquiri or Mojito, or simply enjoyed neat to appreciate its complexity.
