Cardenal Mendoza Carta Real is a distinguished Solera Gran Reserva Spanish Brandy de Jerez, representing the pinnacle of the renowned Sánchez Romate Hermanos bodega. This expression is aged for an average of 20 years in the traditional Solera system, resting in old Oloroso and Amontillado sherry casks.
This extensive maturation grants the Carta Real a magnificent dark mahogany hue and an exceptionally smooth, complex profile. The nose is deep and elegant, featuring rich notes of polished wood, dried plums, fig, and old leather. On the palate, it delivers a velvety mouthfeel with flavors of toasted nuts, dark chocolate, and a lingering spice. It is a brandy of immense character, best savored neat in a snifter to appreciate its profound depth and history.
