Centenario 12 Years Gran Legado Rum is a sophisticated blend, meticulously aged for up to 12 years in white American oak casks. This careful maturation process imparts a slightly sweeter profile than the brand's younger expressions, delivering remarkable depth and complexity.
On the palate, this rum reveals a harmonious blend of rich, inviting notes, including hints of almonds and pralines, alongside the sweet, comforting flavor of ripe bananas and almond sponge cake. Bright accents of orange zest and nougat provide lift and balance. The finish is notably long and complex, featuring sophisticated layers of amontillado sherry, subtle apple blossoms, chamomile tea, sugared raisins, and a hint of mocha.
