Since 2011 Patrick CARTEYRON has also acquired a 2 1/2-hectare property in the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation, Château La FLEUR PENIN.
Born from grapevines of 35 to 70 years old. Fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel barrels. Traditional maturation in oak barrels (35% new) during approximately 12 months. Wines are kept on deposits during their whole maturation.
Tasting Note: A sophisticated and elegant wine, intense and with a lot of body, supported by vanilla aromas from the oak which mingle with red fruits notes.
