Choya Original Plum Liqueur is a premium Japanese Umeshu crafted by steeping high-quality Nanko plums (Ume) in Shochu and sugar. Unlike many commercial brands, Choya utilizes whole plums during the entire process, imparting a rich, authentic flavor profile without the use of artificial additives. This meticulous maturation process allows the natural tartness of the Ume to harmonize with a delicate sweetness. The result is a versatile liqueur presenting bright notes of almond, apricot, and honeyed plum. Its balanced acidity and medium body make it highly approachable.
