Churchill???s 40 Year Old Tawny Port is a magnificent and rare fortified wine, representing the pinnacle of aged Tawny Port. Sourced from the Duriense region of Portugal, this exceptional blend is aged in oak for a minimum of four decades, developing remarkable complexity and elegance. It is renowned for maintaining Churchill???s characteristic freshness despite its age. This Tawny offers a beautiful bright copper color and a full-bodied texture. The palate is deeply layered with mature notes of caramel, honey, and toasted oak, beautifully balanced by hints of bright citrus, such as orange peel. Crafted from traditional Portuguese grapes like Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, this Port is exquisite on its own or paired with sweet desserts and mature cheese.
