Churchill's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is a distinguished single-vintage port, aged for four to six years in large wooden vats before bottling???twice as long as traditional Vintage Port. This extended barrel aging allows the wine to soften and mature, making it ready to drink upon release without requiring decanting. Known for its deep ruby color and concentrated fruit, Churchill's LBV delivers a rich palate defined by dark cherry, plum, and subtle notes of mint and eucalyptus. The aging process grants it a wonderfully smooth texture and soft tannins, while retaining the signature freshness and structure expected from a quality Port house. It pairs exceptionally well with dark chocolate desserts or strong cheeses like Stilton.
