Clairin Vaval is an exceptional, handcrafted Haitian agricultural rum (clairin) distilled at the A. Vaval distillery in Cavaillon. This expression is uniquely made from fresh cane juice, using the Madame Mevs variety of sugarcane, which is fermented spontaneously using only wild yeasts. It is then distilled in a small pot still, without the addition of water before bottling, resulting in a robust, high-proof spirit that captures the raw, terroir-driven essence of Haiti.
