Clase Azul A??ejo Tequila embodies a years-long journey, resulting in a rich and complex 100% Blue Weber agave spirit. It is double distilled in copper pot stills and then aged for over two years???typically 25 months???in American whiskey casks, which imparts its harmonious character and deep copper color with intense golden highlights. This A??ejo presents an intense aroma featuring oak, orange marmalade, apple preserves, roasted hazelnut, cardamom, and clove. On the palate, expect rich, full-bodied flavors of candied orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper, often complemented by notes of vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch. It culminates in a long, silky finish of toasted and spiced notes. Beyond the liquid, its hand-painted ceramic decanter is a symbolic tribute to the Mazahua indigenous culture, making it a beautiful sipping tequila for aged spirits lovers.
