It offers a bright, herbaceous, and honeyed taste with a dry, balancing bitterness. This distinctive flavor makes it an indispensable component in classic cocktails, most famously replacing Kina Lillet in the original James Bond Vesper Martini. It also shines simply served chilled over ice with a splash of soda and an orange slice.
