Compass Box The Double Single is a rare and compelling blended malt Scotch whisky, celebrated for its unique composition which intentionally limits the blend to only two components: a 19-year-old single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery and a 14-year-old single grain Scotch from the Girvan distillery. This innovative approach by Compass Box aims to highlight the extraordinary complementary nature of malt and grain whisky when sourced from exceptional stocks.
Bottled at 46% ABV, The Double Single offers a rich and layered profile. Expect notes of delicate vanilla, creamy toffee, and ripe orchard fruit from the grain, beautifully complemented by the complexity of dark honey, spice, and malt from the single malt.
