Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is the first whisky ever crafted in the Cotswolds, a truly pioneering spirit made using locally grown, traditionally floor-malted Cotswold barley. This award-winning expression achieves its distinct, rich flavor through careful maturation in a combination of premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and specially treated STR (Shaved, Toasted, and Re-charred) American oak ex-red wine casks. This unique cask recipe yields a beautifully complex profile. The non-chill filtered and naturally colored spirit offers inviting notes of honey, creamy vanilla, and red fruits, complemented by a hint of treacle and a warm, lingering spice. This single malt is a superb reflection of the Cotswolds terroir and the distillery's commitment to quality from grain to glass. It is best appreciated neat or with a splash of water to unlock its full depth.
