Cù Bòcan 12 Years Rum Cask is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the unique character of light, peated spirit married with exotic rum cask influence. This intriguing expression from the Tomatin Distillery is initially matured in traditional American oak barrels before being finished in premium Caribbean rum casks.
The result is an exceptionally complex and layered dram. On the nose, subtle smoke is beautifully balanced by tropical notes of pineapple, coconut, and brown sugar. The palate offers a velvety texture, rich with dried fruit, light spice, and a hint of maritime salt, culminating in a long, sweet, and gently smoky finish. This whisky is a fantastic introduction to Highland peated malts with a distinctive twist.
