Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition is a robust, high-proof blended Scotch whisky that pays homage to the illicit spirit smuggled by Captain Bill McCoy during the American Prohibition era. Bottled at a potent 50% ABV (100 proof), it delivers a bold intensity while retaining the signature smooth, balanced character of the Cutty Sark line.
This expression is non-chill filtered to preserve its rich natural flavors and complex mouthfeel. On the nose, you'll discover notes of sweet caramel, vanilla, and hints of dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and warming, bursting with flavors of creamy toffee, baking spice, and a peppery kick that leads to a long, satisfying finish. It is excellent neat, over ice, or as the foundation for a powerful classic cocktail.
