Del Maguey Vida Mezcal is an authentic, handcrafted single-village spirit from San Luis del R??o, Oaxaca, Mexico. Crafted using traditional methods, the heart of 100% Espad??n agave is roasted in earthen pits, crushed by a horse-drawn stone tahona, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This dedication to tradition results in a balanced and complex flavor profile. The nose is dominated by smoky, roasted agave, complemented by inviting notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and herbs. On the palate, expect a harmonious blend of vegetal and smoky flavors, followed by green apple, black pepper, and lime. Bottled at 84 proof, its versatility makes it perfect for sipping neat to appreciate its complexity or as a distinctive, smoky base for premium cocktails.
