Del Suelo Liso Mezcal is an exceptional expression of 100% Espadín agave, crafted in the time-honored tradition of Oaxaca, Mexico. This small-batch spirit is meticulously produced using ancestral methods, beginning with the roasting of the agave hearts in subterranean pits fired by wood, which imparts the signature, elegant smokiness the spirit is known for. The agave is then crushed by a traditional stone wheel (tahona) before undergoing a slow fermentation and double distillation in copper pot stills. Bottled unaged ("Liso"), this mezcal offers a clean, pure, and balanced profile. Expect complex layers of sweet, roasted agave, mineral earthiness, and a subtle yet distinct ribbon of smoke. Its smooth finish makes it a versatile choice for sipping neat to appreciate its terroir, or as the backbone of a sophisticated cocktail.
