Diplom??tico Ambassador Selection is an ultra-premium Venezuelan sipping rum, representing the pinnacle of the distillery???s art. Crafted solely from the purest sugar cane honeys, this expression is a blend of 100% pot still heavy rums, which are aged for a minimum of twelve years in white oak casks until they reach optimal maturity. The rum then undergoes a critical secondary maturation for at least two years in Pedro Xim??nez sherry casks, imparting profound sweetness and complexity. Bottled straight from the barrel at 47% ABV, non-chill filtered, it presents a rich, dark amber color. The palate is luxurious, with notes of dried fruit, toasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and an incredibly long, nuanced finish. This limited-edition rum is designed to be savored neat.
