Diplomático Selección de Familia is an elegant, premium dark rum from Venezuela, crafted by the distillery's Master Blenders using their private reserves. This blend is distilled primarily in copper pot stills and aged for up to twelve years in a combination of ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry, and new American oak casks, which imparts exceptional depth and complexity. It presents a rich, deep amber color and a sophisticated profile. On the nose, expect inviting aromas of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and sweet spice, balanced by notes of caramel and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, delivering intense flavors of vanilla, tobacco, and oak, culminating in a long, warm, and memorable finish.
