Domaine Berthelemot Monthélie hails from the prestigious Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, producing wines often celebrated for their finesse and delicate, almost "feminine" character, similar to neighboring Volnay. The red expression is crafted from Pinot Noir, featuring a firm, velvety texture and light tannins that evolve to reveal complex secondary aromas of undergrowth, leather, and mushroom. White Monthélie, made from Chardonnay, is considered a close cousin to Meursault, offering handsome golden highlights and aromas that blend lemon, mayflower, Reinette apple, and fresh hazelnut. This Village appellation is a classic example of focused Burgundy terroir, delivering elegance and structure perfect for aging.
