Domaine de la Motte Chablis Premier Cru Vau-Ligneau is a distinguished expression of 100% Chardonnay from the Burgundy region of France. Sourced from the esteemed Vau-Ligneau vineyard, this Premier Cru undergoes careful maturation, often incorporating toasty oak, which imparts desirable complexity and texture.
On the nose, the wine presents an appealing duality of ripe, juicy mangoes layered with subtle, elegant oak notes. The palate is concentrated and full-bodied yet retains the classic Chablis tension, showcasing bright acidity that balances the ripe fruit character. This Chardonnay offers exceptional depth and a long, refreshing finish. It is excellent now but has the structure to age gracefully, making it a superb pairing for rich seafood, white meats, or aged goat cheese.
