The 2021 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir Laurène is the family's flagship cuvée, upholding a 30-year tradition of elegance, expressiveness, and ageability. Named after Véronique Boss-Drouhin's elder daughter, this wine is produced entirely from estate-grown Pinot Noir in the esteemed Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley. This vintage reflects complex flavors and incredible balance from a dramatic growing season. The energetic nose presents notes of baked Rainier cherry and candied orange peel, complemented by subtle undertones of sage and wild herbs. On the palate, expect a graceful character balanced by firm structure and velvety tannins. Aged in French oak barrels, this exquisite wine is a pure reflection of its Oregon terroir and is built to age beautifully, with an optimum consumption window of 10 to 12 years.
