Domaine du Coquerel VS Calvados is a vibrant expression of Normandy’s heritage, crafted from crisp, local cider apples and distilled using a continuous column still. As a VS (Very Special) Calvados, it has been aged for a minimum of two years in French oak barrels, resulting in a spirit that beautifully balances youthful energy with oak influence.
This Calvados presents inviting aromas of baked apples, caramel, and fresh Normandy cider. The palate is clean and fruit-forward, featuring notes of honeysuckle, spice, and a subtle hint of savory sawdust from the barrel aging. Its bright character and approachable smoothness make it perfect for enjoying neat after dinner, or as a sophisticated base in classic cocktails, particularly in a Calvados Sidecar or an Apple Jack.
