Drumshanbo Marsala Cask Whiskey is an exquisite Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, meticulously triple-distilled at the Shed Distillery and initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. This exceptional spirit is then finished in unique, sweet Marsala wine casks from Sicily, imparting a distinct layer of complexity. The nose is greeted by inviting notes of clove, warm honey, toasted caramel, and sun-ripened fruit. The palate delivers a sumptuous profile of dried fruits and hazelnuts, leading to a long, memorable finish. This expression showcases a beautifully balanced blend of Irish tradition and Mediterranean influence, making it a sophisticated and flavorful pour for the discerning whiskey enthusiast.
