El Dorado Enmore Single Still Rum is a highly prized expression from Demerara Distillers in Guyana, distilled exclusively using the historic wooden Enmore Coffey Still, one of the last of its kind. This unique apparatus imparts a distinct, complex character to the spirit. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate, the rum achieves remarkable depth and maturity.
The palate reveals a captivating profile, starting with notes of dark chocolate, rich molasses, and dried tropical fruits like sultanas and figs. Underlying these are savory hints of tobacco and warm baking spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, culminating in a long, dry, and immensely satisfying finish. This single still bottling is a testament to traditional Guyanese rum production.
