El Tequileno Platinum Tequila is a highly respected, modern Blanco expression from the historic Tequilena Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted under the guidance of Master Distiller Antonio Salles, this premium tequila is made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, which is slowly cooked and fermented. It undergoes a meticulous double distillation process in pot stills, resulting in exceptional purity and smoothness.
This tequila is famed for its authentic, clean agave flavor profile, featuring bright notes of sweet cooked agave, fresh herbs, citrus, and a subtle peppery finish. Unlike many Blanos, El Tequileno Platinum rests for three weeks in large American oak vats before bottling, which allows the flavors to harmonize and provides its signature soft texture.
