Fattoria Mancini Sangiovese is a distinguished Marche Igt wine, crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the unique microclimate of the Roncaglia and Focara hills near Pesaro. This coastal influence and the area's deep, sandy, calcareous soils contribute to a wine that is both structured and elegant.
The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation. For maturation, 50% of the wine spends 12 months in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 50% is aged for 12 months in 228-liter French oak barrels on the lees. This meticulous process—including complete malolactic fermentation—yields a complex wine with freshness, depth, and a refined texture. With an alcohol content of 14% vol, it is released after a minimum of three months of bottle aging.
