Finca Manzanos 1890 Crianza is a classic representation of Rioja Alavesa, combining tradition and modern winemaking to create an accessible yet sophisticated red wine. Sourced from the family's oldest vineyards, this Tempranillo-based wine is meticulously aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by further time in the bottle, meeting the strict requirements for Crianza classification.
The result is a wine of medium intensity, featuring a bouquet of ripe red berries, vanilla, and subtle spice notes derived from its oak maturation. On the palate, it is smooth, well-balanced, and approachable, with soft tannins and a lingering finish. This wine is an excellent pairing for tapas, grilled lamb, or semi-cured cheeses.
