Fortaleza Blanco Tequila is a celebrated expression, revered for its adherence to traditional production methods. Crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave in Tequila Valley, Jalisco, this blanco is proof that quality comes from the past. The agave hearts are cooked in a traditional stone oven (horno), crushed by a two-ton stone wheel (tahona), and then fermented in small wooden vats. Distilled to proof and bottled immediately, this spirit maintains the true character of the agave.
This process results in a vibrant, complex profile featuring bright notes of citrus, creamy cooked agave, green olive, and black pepper.
