Gautier XO Cognac is a masterful and rich blend of old eaux-de-vie, some aged up to 40 years, with a minimum age of 10 years. This expression captures the harmonious signature of Maison Gautier and is composed of eaux-de-vie sourced from Fins Bois, Bons Bois, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne cru regions.
This XO is renowned for its generous and smooth mouthfeel, offering a splendid and persistent length on the palate—a characteristic of exceptional old cognacs. The tasting profile is a powerful combination of intense aromas of candied fruits, orange blossom, and gingerbread, complemented by subtle floral and woody notes. Further complexity includes rich layers of dried apricot, fig, toffee, spice cake, and toasted oak. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is best enjoyed neat to savor its complexity and elegance.
