Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve 1797 Whisky

Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve 1797 Whisky is a vibrant, non-age-statement single malt that pays homage to the distillery's founding year. Hailing from one of Scotland's oldest operating distilleries, this expression is a quintessential Highland malt, bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered to retain its full, rich character. It is typically matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which imparts a beautifully balanced profile. Expect bright notes of fresh green apple, citrus, and sweet barley sugar on the nose, leading to a palate rich with creamy vanilla, toasted oak, and a distinctive hint of baking spice and malt. The finish is long, warm, and exceptionally clean, showcasing the true essence of Glen Garioch’s traditional style. It’s an excellent representation of the distillery’s commitment to quality and history.
