Glen Moray 21 Year Old Portwood Finish is a luxurious Speyside single malt, initially aged in American oak casks to develop an intense spicy sweetness. The whisky then undergoes an extended two-year finishing period in hand-selected Portuguese port wine casks, which imparts exceptional depth and color. This dual maturation creates a complex profile. On the palate, intense berry fruits, blackcurrant, and liquorice merge with creamy vanilla, rich caramel, and chewy toffee. The finish is long and satisfying, featuring notes of dark chocolate and caramelized raisins, balanced by a hint of chili-infused chocolate and gingerbread spice. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this dram is full-bodied, elegant, and perfectly balanced.
