Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Old is a beautifully complex Highland single malt Scotch whisky, initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being finished for two years in carefully selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The name "Lasanta" is Gaelic for warmth and passion, perfectly reflecting the spirit’s rich, inviting character. This expression showcases a deep, spicy sweetness, with the nose opening to notes of chocolate-covered raisins, honeyed dates, and subtle baking spice. The palate delivers a velvety texture bursting with dried fruits, sherry sweetness, orange zest, and a hint of hazelnut. It concludes with a long, satisfying finish of spiced orange and chocolate. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is a rewarding dram for those who appreciate sherry-cask influence.
